TO: All Transportation Employees NOVEMBER 1, 2007
PENALTY / GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
Claims submitted to the Carrier via the Kiosk
• If denied, the employee must print the claim out and forward to his/her Local Chairman for further handling if desired.
• If penalty claim is handwritten, it must be faxed to IHB extension 6723. If denied, penalty time claim will be returned to the employee via U.S. mail. The employee must forward the claim to his/her Local Chairman for further handling if desired.
We encourage employees to use the kiosk method for claims as this is the most direct and expedient.
Any penalty claims received through other than the above methods will be regarded as not received. Be governed accordingly.
